@our.honeycombhouse: Today we’re taking a little look around the living room 🤍 And honestly… it feels like such an expression of home. Yes, it’s decorated. Yes, I love pretty things. But it’s also real life. We have soft, sink-right-in chairs. Recliners. A couch we actually nap on. My heated blanket stays close by. Charging cords are tucked around. We snuggle in here and watch our shows. We live in this space. There are gorgeous antique chairs and high-end sofas out there that cost a fortune — and I truly admire them — but that’s just not practical for Mike and me. We’re in our 50s now, and comfort wins every time. This house may photograph beautifully… but it also has dog hair. Dirty dishes in the sink sometimes. Coffee drips on the counter. Closets that desperately need organizing. Half-finished DIY projects. Little corners still waiting their turn. And I think that’s important to say. Because this isn’t just a decorated house. It’s a lived-in, well-loved, cozy home.
