Not to mention the PTSD many soldiers could come home with, what we once called shell shock. In a drone-heavy war it won’t just be loud bangs, even everyday buzzing sounds like lawn mowers or air conditioners could trigger flashbacks for some veterans.

When I was working as a part time admin at a low level psych ward, our doctors told us that the ‘new’ PTSD trigger for veterans would be mosquito sounds because of drones. It’s terrifying to think we have ‘gamified’ war with drones
