So sad when I have to say what you said is true. I have TPBank account also and the frustation they made me feel is increasing everyday. And to be honest, not only TP, the others also. The only way you can do is find a police station to force TP do something faster.

quy trình 3-5 ngày xử lý là bình thường luôn ý, đâu phải bạn là du khách thì phải ưu tiên. Và phải chứng minh chủ thẻ các thứ, sang tây âu thì còn khướt nhé

Hi Thomas, I understand that you’re quite frustrated after experiencing this situation. However, when traveling to any country, it’s important to show respect for local rules and systems. Bank procedures may seem like a small matter, but the laws and regulations of a country are not. Having a card retained by an ATM is not something unusual, and I believe it’s an issue most people have at least heard about or encountered at some point in their lives.

Nói chung là máy cũng phải có lỗi, không thể nào trơn tru 100%, ngân hàng báo theo quy định là 3-5 ngày, do lịch trình ông bà bay về trước cái ngày đấy thì đen chứ cứ ai bị nuốt thẻ mà gọi phát có người đến cậy atm ra lấy thẻ luôn thì chắc chả ở đâu có dịch vụ đấy :)))))) sáng hôm sau mà còn ở đấy thì quay lại chi nhánh nhờ nhân viên sẽ có cách hỗ trợ.

In fact, all banks in Vietnam handle this similarly. No bank has staff available to immediately return a customer's card after it's swallowed by an ATM. This is because each bank has a schedule for replenishing cash in each ATM, and only then can they retrieve the swallowed cards. In such cases, customers need to go to the branch managing the ATM to provide cardholder confirmation and retrieve their card.

atm có ngày mở để lấy tiền nên 3-5 ngày xử lý là nhanh rồi, người nước ngoài lúc nào cũng bảo ta là người nước ngoài nên xử lý liền cho ta. Người ta có quy luật và bạn phải tuân theo thế thôi.

I totally understand your situation. But what happened already happened even I’m Vietnamese living in a western country, this things happened to me to and what the bank could help me is to take time to get the card ( days counting tho) or they will cancel that card and send me the new one ( days counting tho). They literally can’t send someone to get the card out for just only you immediately, not anyone are able to open the ATM just to help only you. Anyways I feel your annoyings to be in this case

3-5 days for processing is normal. Need to verify your identification. No one have responsibility to take your card outside working time. They can’t just go to the atm and open it to take it out. They have to follow procedure.

so tell me which country you are from, that you get your card stuck in the machine at night, and expect someone to come and get it out for you (and I assume you are not willing to pay for any additional cost as well).

If the ATM swallows your card, it seems to be security issue( wrong PIN for several times, forgot to take the card out, the card chip is not supported...) Probably the staff can help you on Monday morning. Thumb rule is never do any physical transaction on Friday/ Sat evening.

I think it’s because your girlfriend forgot to take the card after withdrawing money for too long, so the machine automatically kept the card. It takes time to process it according to the procedure, so it cannot be rushed. We should reflect on our own mistakes before criticizing something.

Nah, only atm next to a bank can be fixed right away. I mean it's not only tp bank. And if you have st serious and need help, to to the nearest tp bank and ask for help. NOT A PHONE CALL.
