Os dois sao pessoas traumatizadas de maneiras diferentes, mas que tiveram feridas emocionais abertas pelos ataques bioterroristas da umbrella, sendo a grace alguém que está lidando com tudo pela primeira vez, e o leon a pessoa que já passou por tudo, mas que não encontrou um meio de se perdoar ou se curar.
