THIS might be one of the most useful pieces of HHN “merch” I’ve seen. 😂 If you love the idea of Halloween Horror Nights but the thought of walking through the scare zones has you questioning every life choice that brought you here…Universal has the Deathly Afraid lanyard. 👻 🟢 It lights up red and is designed to signal to scareactors that you’d like limited scares in common areas and scare zones. But there is a BIG thing you need to know before buying one: 🏚️ It does not work inside the haunted houses. The signage specifically says it is not to be activated inside the houses, and a scare-free evening is not guaranteed. So this isn’t an invisibility cloak. 😂 But for someone who is nervous about the scare zones and still really wants to experience HHN, I LOVE that this exists. And while we’re talking about HHN merch you might completely miss… 🧲 There are weekly collectible magnets this year! A different HHN 35 magnet is scheduled to release throughout the event, and they’re $14 each. The designs include Happy Halloween, Stranger Things, Hamnet Kunda, Killer Klowns, Fortnitemares, Hellraiser, Ozzy Osbourne and Sinners. Which means if you’re going multiple times…Universal has apparently found yet another way to get you into a gift shop. 😂 Honestly, this is exactly the kind of stuff I want to know before I get there. Not just what shirt is cute, but what exists, what’s actually useful and what I need to look for before I walk right past it.
