Art most definitely isn't always meant to be consumed by the masses. It's meant to do a multitude of things; shock, comfort, polarize, etc. It's meant to evoke conversation, thought. To make you see worlds beyond your own bubble, beyond your own experience. Art opens minds. I feel like neither of them understand that.
