Everyone saying they make $600 in one shift is lying. I waitressed and bartended for years. And while I had shifts where I made $600-$1,000, it wasn’t always consistent. There were slow shifts where I only made $100-$200. I never got a lunch break. My feet and back killed me. I went back to school to make more money and consistent money. Sorry about having a slow week is not good when you have kids and bills. Anyway, No more holidays, nights, or weekends either! Home with my family when they’re off too.

From my experience, waiting on people is more difficult than operating a boat forklift. Only responsibility of a grown as man is providing for someone other than himself in my opinion, however he does that is his business.
