@manefitt: Making this post was very emotional for me 🥹🤍 Those who have followed me for years have seen my old posts, and you may have noticed the change in the way I cover now (I even archived over 400 posts 🙈). I always loved wearing the hijab (the head covering), but I didn’t fully understand the importance of covering the shape of my body as well. Those in the fitness industry know that being a hijabi in this field comes with many challenges and temptations. In Ramadan 2024, I made a decision. I decided that Allah and pleasing Him are far more important than this temporary world. For nearly 3 years now, I have been happily covering properly for the sake of Allah. Knowing that I choose what people get to see has been empowering. Note: I’m not a perfect hijabi, but this has been a journey of progress for me — Alhamdulillah 🫶🏻 Hijab is not a restriction at all.
