The issue here is that you think gender is two options when it’s actually a large spectrum. No one person adheres to the exact same definition of gender, and trans people simply want to align more with different parts of the spectrum that they feel resonates with them more.

For me at least I'm a trans woman or at least gender queer. Ive never felt need to dress feminine to pass as a women. Most of my dysphoria Is caused from my body not from what I dress in, and I agree with you partly with the stereotypes I think its more doing them to try and pass as their gender identity than to do them to make stereotypes worse or more visible. (I was really tired while making so I might have made grammar mistake and such)
