i wish they’d stop measuring bumps for babies growth… they did this with both of my children, and they sent me for an emergency growth scan for my daughter, and the lady who scanned me literally said “i don’t know why they’ve sent you here, baby is perfectly fine.” 😩 i was so stressed!!

All way through my pregnancy with my 2nd boy…. All they kept going on about is having a small baby… they induced me and he turned out to be 9lb 🤣🤣

please don’t accept a sweep with a lower placenta. Mine was knocked off during a sweep and I had placenta abruption from it

I had urgent scans every two / three weeks because of this. My little boy came out 8lb 4oz. Don’t let it scare you but I do understand cause I was terrified. Xxx

Growth scans can be inaccurate. I had growth scans every 2 weeks from 24 weeks🙈 As I was always measuring big and she measured big on the scans too. I was told we was looking at her being closer to 10lbs at birth but she was 8lb 7! I really can’t wait to see how you take to motherhood, it’s truly the best🩷🩵

I measured less than 3rd percentile on fundal height at 28 weeks, was sent for a scan that afternoon and baby measured 97th percentile! We were told the whole pregnancy that her head and stomach were large and were prepped for a large baby. She came at 39 + 3 and was 7lb 8oz... I think she was 56th percentile so they were WAY off. Don't try to worry too much, I felt like my pregnancy was ruined with the constant worries and the scans every 2 weeks

I honestly dont understand why they measure the bump with a tape. Just adds to pregnancy anxiety xx

They told me my girl was expected to be around 14lb and 38 weeks, had her 39+3 at 7lb 8oz🤣🤣🤣

I've 38 weeks tomorrow and she's always been small but I had to be sent for a scan for the same reasons and she was measuring 4lb 11 at 34 weeks xx

This happened to me several times for both my pregnancies. Everytime I dir a scan baby was measuring fine.

Please be careful as I was told my placenta move back up but when I went into labour my placenta came out first and my daughter swallowed some of it and had to have a lumbar puncture and antibiotics. I also lost a lot of blood.

Oh my goodness I remember getting referred for scans every midwife appointment for my bump being to small!! Turns out he was sitting more in my back and super low he came out 6lbs 4 oz xx

With my first they kept scaring me saying my baby was measuring 10lbs but when my baby came he was only 4lbs 6oz

You look beautiful. I had so many growth scans and my son was born 5lbs 11oz at 38 weeks. He was very small for 38 weeks but he was perfectly healthy, you’ve got this mama

I had to have a few extra scans too because baby girl was measuring small but if your either a small frame yourself you can just literally be all bump then that can happen which is nothing to worry about it’s nice to get them extra scans in tbh, your looking amazing Maggie!
