I used to feel this way until my sister transitioned and I realized that by pretending all her childhood photos didn’t exist, it was like erasing her entire childhood. Obviously people shouldn’t post someone’s pretransition pics, but sharing photos with friends or family and reminiscing is completely different. My sister may not look like a little girl in her childhood photos, but she was one regardless and remembering that little girl is important
