lets be a little fair here.
Catherine was way too young (physically and mentally) and way too unprepared for life as a Queen so she was 💯 a victim
however, there is little doubt she had an affair.
lets look at the facts.
she had a sexual relationship with at least one man prior to marriage to Henry VIII therefore, while young, she was not a virgin, and therefore at least in sex, was not naive.
She was raised a Howard, even given her education, formal and informal, was limited, she knew how the Court worked and what was expected of a Howard.
She was aware her cousin Anne B lost her head for adultery (which was clearly BS), so was 💯 aware of Henry being some1 who would chop some1 head off for even flirting, yet by your own admission, she was actively flirting and admitted to everythibg other than penetrative, and her closing words were she wished she could have died the wife of Culpepper, there was no logical reason to say this unless it was love, lust and sex.
