Developed by Nissan Motor Corporation and its high-performance division NISMO (Nissan Motorsports), the GT-R NISMO stands as the ultimate evolution of the R35 GT-R platform. Since the R35 generation debuted in 2007, the car has been continuously refined, and the NISMO variant represents the pinnacle of these improvements, incorporating racing technology, aerodynamic innovation, and advanced powertrain engineering. At the heart of the Nissan GT-R NISMO lies a specially tuned version of Nissan’s famous VR38DETT engine. As a result, the GT-R NISMO can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 2.5 seconds, placing it firmly in the realm of elite supercars. Despite its immense power, the car maintains remarkable stability and control thanks to sophisticated electronic systems and a carefully balanced chassis. Aerodynamics play a major role in the performance of the Nissan GT-R NISMO. Extensive wind-tunnel testing helped engineers design aggressive aerodynamic components such as a large carbon-fiber rear wing, redesigned front bumper, extended side skirts, and rear diffuser.
