Chief Keef (born Keith Farrelle Cozart on August 15, 1995) is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois who rose to mainstream prominence in the early 2010s. He first gained attention through a series of local mixtapes and viral videos released in 2011, including the breakout single I Don’t Like, which quickly spread online and helped introduce Chicago drill music to a wider audience. Soon after, he signed with Interscope Records. His debut studio album Finally Rich (2012) featured the hit single Love Sosa, which became one of the defining tracks of the drill movement and showcased his raw delivery and street-focused lyricism. In 2015, Chief Keef released his third studio album Bang 3, continuing his influence on the drill sound that had already reshaped Chicago’s rap scene. The project included tracks like Save That Shit and built on the dark, bass-heavy style he helped popularize. Over time, Chief Keef became known not only for his music but also for inspiring a generation of drill artists and producers across the United States and internationally. Beyond his solo work, Chief Keef founded his own label, Glo Gang (Glory Boyz Entertainment), and has collaborated with numerous artists within hip-hop. Known for his early impact on drill music, distinctive ad-libs, and influential sound, Chief Keef remains a key figure whose style continues to shape modern rap. follow us (theauxmovement) for more #chiefkeef #rap #rapmusic #rapmemes - @theauxmovement
