Im a dude with shoulders about 3 times your size and I do 7.5lbs for about 14 reps each set. this exercise requires perfect form and you need light weight to isolate the side delts. you also dont need to lean when using cables as there is already tension on the negative. leaning only helps if you're using free weights

Damn feel it. I just begun to go the gym ( tomorrow is my 4 time going) and I feel so embarrassed to use small weight bc everybody do more like 30kg and I can only do 15kg on Arm lift or 20kg with leg lifts… I know everybody start small but I feel the eyes on me every time.. and sometimes I’m to scared to use a new machine..😅
