@strayseema: Million Women Rise march in London today, from Oxford Circus to Trafalgqr Square. Women in London and across the UK came together today to stand for equality for ALL women. Unfortunately I witnessed a few sad men on the outskirts of these protests today, swearing at us and make crude gestures. Sad to see the march end at Trafalgar Square where we were faced with a pro Trump/ pro Israel demonstration (albeit we outnumbered them 100-1). The only time these protests ever get shown is pro/against Palestine. People are absolutely allowed their right to march on a cause if it’s legal. Fine. But these people are marching represent half the population yet there has been NO media coverage. I’m sad more men weren’t marching for their sisters, daughters, mothers, friends. But here we are. Not a surprise really is it
