@peticuressandiego: This dog hasn’t had regular nail trims in 7 years… Mom told me it’s always been extremely difficult and very expensive to get something as simple as a nail trim done for her. This sweet senior Boston can be a little spicy, but every pet deserves patience. 🐾 I always start slow — giving them a chance with gentle handling and a loose muzzle if needed, then adjusting as they relax. By the end of the appointment she was letting me work on her back paws with very minimal restraint. Second visits are where the trust really starts building.
