always put grease on the tap. always or no matter what metal shavings will be in there plus over time the vibration is gonna loosen those up take it in and have it repaired thank me later

When I had one that strip out, I used a key locking thread insert but the only way to remove it is drill it out as far as I know.

Helicoils if installed properly do hold, however that thread-sert is a definitely better way to do it
