The best thing you can do in Roswell nm besides the UFO Museum is check out the Walker Aviation Museum that's located in the airport. Its all about the AFB that was there during WWII. My father helped established it. He was 30 yrs AirForce as a Areospace Physiologist for the blackbird, SR-71 and U2. Col. Robert Sherman. He also was alive and a child living in Roswell when the Alien crashed happened. He has some interesting theories.

On a roadtrip I just drove down like the main road and go coffee and went into shops. All the street lights are alien 👽 heads and everything is alien themed. Honestly talking to the people there in the shops was amazing, buying some alien stuff and having delicious alien themed coffee was a perfect little quick stop for me

No one is listening. They only have two hours. Yes, White Sands is awesome in Carlsbad. Caverns is amazing but they do not have the time to do those things unfortunately. I would say they should make time to take advantage of white sands and or Carlsbad caverns. Unfortunately, Roswell is not what one imagines it to be and there’s not much there.

Ok so we have done Roswell. Do the McDonalds. Do the Roswell museums. But for sure take the time to do the truth or consequences spaceport tour. That’s the real deal. The other stuff is all alien conspiracy… the spaceport stuff is the real “future of humanity” stuff.

Roswell resident for many years growing up. You’ll see plenty of Alien Stuff from the light posts to the UFO shaped McDonalds in town. Don’t worry about distance, Roswell is small. For a two hour stop, Check out the International UFO Museum and Research Center. Then grab food from Burrito Express. Steak Combo burrito with green chile. Enjoy!

Roswell was quite a disappointment. The museum has very limited hours. We didn’t find anything fun to do there.

The only thing close to the airport is just check out the museum and the Roswell McDonalds is the only one in the world that’s shaped like a spaceship so that’s all you would have time for. After the air base closed the town pretty much went down so don’t be surprised. White Sands and everything else is too much of a drive. And it’s the windy season so walking around might be bad.
