i love how atheists name their professions or majors as if it gives them any sort of intellectual advantage in their disagreements with religion, even with these titles they still prove they can't grasp simple philosophical and theological concepts of the faith

none of this debunks the epicurean paradox she is reciting. an all god wouldnt allow pointless suffering. the suffering in the surgeon/patient analogy you used is necessary as thats part of healing

Also suffering is a debatable condition. Let’s say God stopped all violence. Would that stop suffering? No, because suffering can be from disease. Ok, so God will stop all diseases. Does that now stop suffering? Nope. We have cause and effect situations, accidents if you will. So now God could make us impervious to physical pain and give us durability. Surely now, we can end all suffering. Oops, someone rejects you, treats you bad and hurts your feelings. At what point do you stop the suffering. Stop one form then the rest are made greater. Stop more and more, until we are not human. Stop them all and we are cold, unfeeling, compliant robots.

Surgeon argument is weak, you need to prove why the surgery is NECESSARY. So if your saying the girl getting surgery doesn’t understand that the pain is bringing an overall good your saying God cannot maximize that good without suffering which is a limit on God
