This should be on everyone’s bucket list. I’ve seen it a half a dozen times and it still amazes me go to the ice castles in cripple Creek and then make it to this place right here Leadville, Colorado.

We had been in Leadville earlier in the week and left Friday. Had no idea this was happening until we saw some signs about expecting traffic and looked it up, haha. What a unique event! We’re going to try to come back next year for it.

Been around ski jouring in Leadville since I twas born. Crazy people come from other states to watch it. Probably wasn’t very good this year with the lack of snow.
