@theremoteconcept: How we edit: Starting with the basics: 🎥 Canon R6 + 24–70mm lens 🚁 DJI Mavic 3 Pro & DJI Mini 4 Pro (We have more lenses, a gimbal, lights, and sooo much more. But this is the setup we use for 99% of our shots.) To get the soft look in-camera, we shoot at sunset/sunrise or during cloudy weather when the light is naturally soft. We also use a Black Mist filter on all of our lenses. Onto the edit: 💻We edit in DaVinci Resolve (paid version) We put off switching from Final Cut Pro to DaVinci Resolve for way too long because I was nervous about starting over. If you take one thing from this post, let it be your sign to GO TO DAVINCI. It’s. worth. it. The flexibility is on another level, and if you’re serious about learning color grading, this is THE platform. You can create your own presets by saving grades from previous shots, we have a few go-tos and we tweak from there. We also do a lot with masking. Quick tip: If there’s little to no movement in your shots, masking will become a lot easier.
