Things like tuna, rice, protein powders, cacao, and conventional peanut butter can naturally accumulate heavy metals from the soil or food chain. So while you’re working on removing metals from the body, continuing to consume these from poorly sourced brands can slowly add the same exposure back in. That doesn’t mean you have to cut everything out forever. It simply means being intentional with sourcing. Choosing brands that are third-party tested and transparent about heavy metal levels can make a huge difference over time.
