there was no THREAT. The passenger next to him reported him to a flight attendant. The man was setting his prayer/ramadan timer as he was traveling in different time zones. The guy was cleared with no charges. This was "Racial profiling" and nothing else

He could have set his timer to vibrate. In this day and age, anyone would be suspicious of someone with a timer going off every 10 minutes. Put yourself in the position of every other passenger on that plane!! There are certain things you just don't do when you're at an airport and flying. Timers going off consistently or saying the word Bomb is going to get you looked at, no matter your nationality or religion. Safety comes first.

I understand that he was no threat, and it’s awful that he had to go through that. But at the end of the day, what if he was a threat? What if no one reported it because they didn’t want to be accused of racial profiling? They’d be dead. Everyone needs to be aware of what they are doing in plane/airports because a lot is suspicious.
