Gave her a letter that told her how badly it messed up to not talk to her. That I tried to be angry but couldn't be. That I understand. That if the space opened up to come find me. And how badly I wanted to chase but wasnt going to. That letter broke me to write but I felt it needed to be done. Shes my person but she just needs time and space. So as much as I didnt want to, I let her go to be free. To love and find herself. All I can hope for is the best for her. I do love her so much

Isn't three years too short for one to just burn out? How do you feel tired and numb and flat towards someone you once gave your all too? How can you say you feel numb yet tell me you love me? Burn out means asking for space to breathe, for expectations to disappear for a bit, to ask for understanding, new ways to recover and heal and move forward. It doesn't mean telling the other person I can't fight anymore because that just means not choosing me anymore. It means I wasn't worth the fight even in your battles. Whether hardest or not. People go to war, people die, people don't see each other for years, but their hearts don't just change. I don't think being numb makes you forget the love you have for me.

She had tried to break up twice before and the first time she said she thought it was a mistake so we tried again. The second time i begged to keep it going and the third time, almost a year later i finally let her go but she resents me even more now. Im giving her space and i want her to heal and i need to heal too but im scared that we held on too long and now she will never want to try again.

How long did it you to let your husband in again or what kind of conversation was had in order for you to give it a try? Because I know what I need to do and I don’t need much for her in order for us to be better or rewrite everything because it’s a matter of misunderstanding each other I did everything right but the emotional need that she desired wasn’t there but everything else was

i moved out , we are getting different jobs and she told me she wants to start out as friends and work up. she is the burnt out one . i just want my lady back. i don’t know why i couldn’t wake up sooner
