@travelwithkids3: Parents always ask me this before their Japan trip… “But what will my kids eat?” I used to stress about this too before our first trip. But after multiple trips to Japan with our kids (and travelling all over Southeast Asia) it’s honestly one of the easiest things. And it’s way cheaper than people expect: • Tuna mayo onigiri from 7-Eleven – about $1 AUD • Famichiki from FamilyMart – around $1.50 AUD • Supermarket bento boxes – around $7–10 AUD • Dinner for our whole family at Matsuya – about $25–30 AUD • Dinner at Saizeriya – about $25–30 AUD • Kids meals at places like Kamakura – around $5 AUD Other places kids love include convenience stores like Lawson, ramen at Ichiran, and fun snacks from stores like Don Quijote where you can find souvenirs and treats. Try foods like yakitori, gyoza, sushi rolls, curry rice, taiyaki, and Japanese bakery pastries while you’re there. Japan is honestly one of the easiest countries in the world to feed kids while travelling. Send this to a parent planning Japan 🇯🇵✈️ #japanwithkids #familytravel #travellingwithkids #japantraveltips #tokyowithkids
We head off for the first in a couple weeks. Is it easy to get sauce on the side over there? My son likes to dip he doesn’t like to have sauce covered food 😅
