But there’s also something less visible: the guilt. Women are often taught that wanting money is selfish. That we should be grateful, modest, or “not too ambitious” when it comes to wealth. Yet money isn’t just about consumption. It’s about security, options, and influence. Who has money decides what gets funded. What businesses grow. What research gets supported. What communities get built. So wanting financial security, and yes, even wealth, isn’t something women should feel ashamed of. It’s how we gain the freedom to shape the world around us. #IWD #women
