We had our Loco since he was a few days old. We fed him around the clock as a baby. Then we put him outside in an enclosure where he was free to come and go. Then one day he didn’t come back to the enclosure but instead built a nest in the tree next to it. It has been about a year since he was released and he is still living on our property. He loves my husband and will come to him when he here’s his name being called. We still leave out nuts and his favorite foods.

Good plan. My sister raised a baby squirrel. She took him to the park and set him free. She went back to the park a week later and he came up to her for loving. She took him back home.
