Cool, but why won't the law just cleary state that eligible voters are those who are 18yrs and above 6month to the date of voting. Does that not clear this case up?

The system should allow anyone who turns 18 before the election date to register. A simple rule in the database solves this. Example. Election date. December 7. Birthday. November 20. Registration period. July to August. The system checks age based on the election date, not the registration date. If the voter reaches 18 before December 7, the system approves the registration. One condition in the code solves it. If date_of_birth plus 18 years is less than or equal to election_date, allow registration. This approach removes confusion. It protects the right of people who reach voting age before election day. Many countries already run voter systems with this logic. The technology is simple. The challenge sits with policy and implementation, not the code.
