The original video was posted to the Kremlin’s Telegram channel, apparently by mistake, for four minutes before it was deleted without explanation. Twenty minutes later, the presidential press service published an edited version in which Putin fluently praised women’s ability to “captivate with beauty and charm while also showing diligence, determination and resilience”.
