As someone who just throws it in there after washing it with little bit of water left on the outside while letting rice cook , it doesn’t burst , just makes some disco pop sounds in the beginning phase of heating! I’ve been using the same rice cooker for more than 3 years now.

if we didnt dry, the ricecooker will sound scary 😂 meletup2, tp i guest okaay ja, sbb i kdg2 lupa tp tahan telinga la weh dgr bunyi2 meletup tu, x lama, 2-3 minute until the bottom betul2 dry

Keep drying it, I didn’t dry off my instapot and it eventually stopped working after enough times of the water seeping into it. No flames, just stopped working all together.

it's still an electronic appliances guys so you should dry it before putting it in to avoid burning the bottom of it

kat rumah i, pernah sekali tu, tiber trip right after letak nasi..bila panggil electrician & dia check, dia cakap trip tu jadi sebab bawah periuk nasi tu basah..so yeah, kena lap dulu, sebab worst case scenario, boleh lead to short circuit kalau basah.. better be safe sebab we never know barang barang electric ni en
