When I had my 5mge Cressida, anytime I needed parts they were aways like in Russia lol and I worked at a Toyota dealer and there’s legitimately no 5m or 7M parts in the database it just say “discontinued”. I bought the very last key harmonic balancer key in the country that was shipped from cali to Houston

If I were to get a MK3 I would get a replacement 2JZ before I even buy the car but I’d rather get a Soarer anyway that already has a JZ

I don't get this. the 7mge and 7mgte are exactly the same cast. some small differences aside like oil squirters and an extra knock sensor port in the block. even the head is the same apart from one of the cams.

The problem with the 7MGE is the head studs from the factory and in the repair manual, not tight enough.
