fun fact but they actually aren’t! the reason they are associated with bad luck is bc of the witch hunts back in the day since black cats were associated with witches. they’re actually very good luck to have and are a sign of protection. the only reason they’d be considered “bad luck” is if they cross the road while you’re trying to go somewhere but that is an omen or a “warning” not bad luck.
