If you’re going to risk a conflict near the Strait of Hormuz, you prepare first idk like build up the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, coordinate extra production with allies, stabilize energy markets. Lighting the match before doing any of that is just another example in a litany of examples of incompetency.

This is why professor Jiang said the US would lose this war. Not by way of military action but by way of economics. Inflation is high, the commercial markets are teetering, oil is skyrocketing and jobs in the US are declining. There is no wiggle room.
