That’s one of the many things I love about my grandpa. Yes he raised and adopted my sister and I but I NEVER caught him shit talking my parents. He said if we wanted a relationship with our bio parents we could. My mom’s family minus her grandma and aunt and uncle were the ones trying to say my Dad’s dad was awful and a problem. My sister and I saw through that though and never talked to them after we were adopted.

my moms mom did this to her and then he went missing and after 30 years missing declared dead. my mom gave me her dads name as my middle name and her mother hated her and me for it.

My mom did this to a certain extent.i was aftraid to spend time with him when I was little. Once I was an adult I realized he was a pretty nice guy and I enjoyed his company.
