@evitapolizzi: My journey into nursing didn’t follow a traditional timeline. I graduated at 40, which taught me that purpose doesn’t have an expiration date. If anything, it made me more certain that showing up with empathy, patience, and heart is what truly makes a difference in patient care. This International Women’s Day, I’m feeling especially grateful and inspired. As a home health nurse, I have the privilege of caring for people in some of their most vulnerable moments, and I’m constantly reminded of the strength, resilience, and compassion that women bring to healthcare every single day. I’m incredibly honored to have been part of the @wearfigs Women’s History Month campaign. Seeing my mom’s excitement when she saw her daughter in those ads was a moment I’ll never forget. It reminded me that when women step into their purpose, we don’t just inspire ourselves, we inspire the generations around us. To all the women in healthcare and beyond: your compassion, strength, and dedication matter more than you know. Keep showing up, keep lifting others, and keep breaking timelines and expectations.
