Those gel highlighters make ur pages sticky and gummy. Use sharpie accent smear guard and just lightly highlight. It’s the best to do. Gel highlighters are what they say gel and stick pages together and you have to constantly sharpen them or it looks horrible. Again, the make ur pages stick together. Use the ones I mention above

I personally like MR Pen over these ones because Mr pen goes all the way to the end and doesn’t have that plastic piece when you finish taking up a bunch of gel.

I js use a skinny yellow crayola marker and it does the job pretty well, no smudging, no bleeding

Let’s be real those Bible say highlighters are not perfect but they are so much better than other lighters. There’s also better brands for Bible safe highlighters but yeah, this is a good idea. I’ve been using non-bleed highlighters for the past couple years.

If you do rub after using those highlighters, they will smear most likely like the other ones that’s why he only dabbed it and didn’t smear it. But if you don’t rub it, it should work fine.
