Nothing new. I have eaten cottage cheese with pineapple, peaches, pears and any kind of berries since I was a kid in the 60s. My momma put it in the table all the time. It was one of my father’s favorite.

Growing up my mom gave us any can fruit with cottage cheese after a beach day and shower. Sometimes she drizzled pancake syrup. Dang we were poor 🤣 I never knew until now

I have always just chopped up the pineapple and mixed into the cottage cheese. Other fave is drained canned peaches
