@dr.tubs: Fingers not performing like they used to? 👋🏼 #drtubstips Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve becomes compressed in a narrow passageway in the wrist called the carpal tunnel. This tunnel also contains the tendons that move your fingers. When these tendons become irritated or swollen, pressure builds inside the tunnel and can compress the nerve. Common symptoms include: • numbness • tingling • burning in the thumb, index, and middle finger In the next video, I’ll show you how to test for it.
