I never considered that I could be autistic until I got medicated for adhd. Now it’s pretty obvious that I am autistic.

My ADHD was becoming so much more than that. I craved isolation, couldn't handle relationships, had sensory overload daily. Seeking an official diagnosis and still masking at work, but now that I know I am not losing my mind and it is most likely Autism, I feel hopeful.

My daughter has both and has been diagnosed only with ADHD by our local regional center which is keeping her from getting services. I don’t understand how they do not understand this. It is very clear for me to see both patterns with her.

Diagnosed as OCD at 24. Then ADHD at 43. Then autistic/AuDHD at 46. Everything was hiding everything.
