News was live broadcast nightly. Three TV stations. Journalists in the battle zone nightly. What we saw was not what the government was telling us. That's why we protested. The protests weren't popular among the older people. But, history proved we were right.

I remember as a child seeing the Vietnam war on the tv every night. I really don’t want this for the current young generation as they are dealing with enough problems
