@oakvalewildlife: Meet Willow the Wombat 💛 When we asked Keeper Claire to describe Willow, she said: “It’s Willow’s world, we’re just living in it.” And she’s not wrong. This sweetheart is always excited to see her favourite humans and absolutely loves attention (sometimes like a needy little child!). On her enrichment walks she’s known to get the zoomies, and she still keeps her security blanket from when she was hand-raised — yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds. Safe to say, Willow is loved by every member of the Oakvale team. Fun wombat facts: • Wombats have cube-shaped poo (yep, really!) which helps mark their territory. • They can run up to 40 km/h when they need to — zoomies level: expert. • Their super-strong backsides act like built-in armour to protect them in burrows.
