@babygenieapp: Spit-up can look scary, but most of the time it’s completely normal. In young babies, the muscle that keeps milk in the stomach is still developing. Because of that, milk can sometimes come right back up after a feeding. Many babies spit up and are perfectly happy, feeding well, and growing normally. Vomiting is different. It’s usually forceful and the liquid may shoot out instead of just dribbling up. ❓Call your pediatrician if you notice: • Vomit that shoots out forcefully • Trouble feeding • Pain or distress with spit-up • Fewer wet diapers • Dry mouth • Unusual sleepiness Most babies outgrow frequent spit-up as their digestive system gets stronger over the next few months. Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it’s always okay to check in. ##NewbornCare #NewParents #BabySpitUp #FirstTimeMom #BabyGenieApp
