@islam.jannnah: You will not understand it while it is happening. While you are sitting with the absence of something you prayed for, planned for, quietly built your hope around. It will not feel like a mercy. It will feel like silence where an answer should have been. But Allah’s protection does not always look like protection in the moment. Sometimes it looks like a door closing so firmly you are left standing in the hallway wondering what you did wrong. You did nothing wrong. He just loved you enough to redirect you. And one day the hallway will open into something so much more true to who you are that the closed door will finally make sense. Not all of it. But enough. Enough to be grateful. Enough to say Alhamdulillah and actually mean it from the deepest, most healed part of yourself.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
