I’m going with Wunmi because sinners is such a powerhouse. Typically the performer with the stronger film wins. Amy is Weapons’ only nomination.

Was super hopeful Inga would be a dark horse but she’s completely out of it now 😭. She gave by far my favorite performance of the year regardless of category. Of the potential winners I’m rooting for either Amy or Wunmi.

in no way, shape or form I'm abandoning my pic for Amy Madigan. Mainly because despite Weapons having no other nomination, she's been such a favorite for this performance, while Wunmi has gained more recognition now. I'll be happy if either of them win because that's more deserved recognition for the Horror genre overall and they're both amazing so, I'm happy overall.

Amy Madigan may also have the "career pick" advantage. Oscar voters rewarding a full body of work, rather than a specific performance, like Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Dern. Except Madigan could also win on her own merits.

Either way two supporting actresses from two different HORROR movies are the most likely to win an Oscar & I am over the f**king moon about this! 😅 I am personally more familiar with Wunmi Mosaku work, she has stood out to me for a long time now as an actress & it would be awesome to see her win an Oscar ❤️

I love that it’s a race between two actresses in horror- there have been some AMAZING acting performances in horror films that get overlooked due to genre bias. I’m predicting Wunmi wins because I think Sinners is going to win Best Actor and Best Picture.

Unfortunately, we have to talk about what happened at BAFTA with Michael, Delroy and Wunmi. I do think some voters could be pulled in their direction after what happened. Also, it is very hard to win for a horror film and if you are your films only nomination, so that’s why Amy isn’t that cut and dry for me. It’s kind of surprising how Teyana has kind of fallen off because literally three weeks ago she was still considered the front runner. This is definitely been the race to watch all season.

Id love a Wunmi, Tiana, or Amy win. But I do really want Amy to win, horror is rarely represented at the Oscars and Id love to see it rewarded. (Ik Sinners is technically horror but it’s not what I think of when I think of that genre I personally consider it drama/action)

Wunmi is probably the worst performance in this category, she wasn’t bad or anything but comparing to the others she came in short. Inga is the best performance in this category. I want her to pull a mark rylance
