@kaylavmezzo: Singers make singing sound easy with the right vowels! If you’ve ever heard a singer sound so open & powerful on a note but then felt like you sounded tight doing it, it could be the vowel. Remember, when you’re singing diphthongs - single syllables with more than one vowel sound - you generally want to hold onto the first, more open vowel shape and delay the glide to the second. This is pretty subtle and kinda sneaky, but now you’ll hear singers doing it all the time - it’s just one secret to getting more freedom and less tightness in your singing.
