For the longest time, I’ve always been the type of person who preferred doing everything alone. Since I started my e-commerce journey, I focused on building, learning, and figuring things out by myself. I wasn’t someone who attended events, networked, or actively tried to connect with other people in business. To be honest, staying in my own lane felt comfortable. But this year 2026 , I’ve started stepping outside of that comfort zone. I’ve been attending more events, meeting more people, and having conversations with individuals from different industries and backgrounds. What surprised me the most is how many people are genuinely interested in what I’m building and how willing they are to share their own experiences and insights. I’m still learning because networking doesn’t come naturally to me. It’s something I’ve avoided for most of my life. But the few connections I’ve made so far have already shown me the value of being around other ambitious people. I’m starting to realize that success isn’t only about how hard you work. Sometimes it’s about who you learn from, who you collaborate with, and who you surround yourself with. The right conversation can open doors that years of trying to figure everything out alone never could. Will connections replace hard work? No. But they can help you move faster, learn quicker, and see opportunities you may never have discovered on your own. If you’re someone like me who prefers doing everything alone, consider this your sign to start putting yourself out there. You don’t have to become the most social person in the room, but don’t underestimate the power of a simple conversation. Some of the opportunities you’re looking for might be one connection away. #fyp #networking #businessowner #successmindset #entrepreneur
