@svadore: The Tokyo I grew up in (lived there for 8 years!) is quiet, textured, and deeply nostalgic. To see it, you have to explore the Shitamachi and the hidden Yokochos. Here is my perfect day in Kagurazaka & Ebisu: Geisya Komichi & Honda Yokocho: Walk the historic geisha paths and the main dining artery of "Little Paris." Shopping: Kagurazaka has the best concentration of zakka (high-quality traditional lifestyle goods). I’ve pinned my favorite shop for handmade ceramics in my map! Le Bretagne: A must-stop at the first-ever creperie in Japan. A Secret Yokocho: A tranquil, timeless alley known as "Screenwriter’s Alley." Historically, legendary writers would hide away in these inns to finish their scripts in total peace. Lunch: A stunning kaiseki (multi-course) lunch in a private tatami room. Perfect for families who want a high-end ryotei experience with a baby. Akagi Shrine: A modern architectural masterpiece that feels like the future of tradition. Onibus Coffee: A necessary pitstop in Ebisu for some of the best specialty coffee in Tokyo. Tokyo Head Spa Ebisu: A world-class Japanese head spa. Unlike anything in the US, this is a deep-tissue scalp treatment and lymphatic massage that is the ultimate reset. The Secret Yokocho: I found a hidden "indoor alleyway" in an unassuming building. It’s loud, raw, and full of different food stalls—it’s pure, old-school Japan energy. This is just one corner of the city I’ve mapped out. Tokyo is a massive, complicated city with so much to do, it can be overwhelming to plan. Beyond my Tokyo Google Map (300+ pins!), I offer full-service travel planning and consultations.
