nitpicking a bit here but why not just say "18 kids" instead of "1 in 5 of those kids" and "4-5 children" instead of "1 in 20 of those children"? the denominator switch from 100 to 5 and 20 makes this confusing and you lose the benefit of the 100 kids visualization you're going for

Out of curiosity I looked up the vaccination rate for my kids school. For the last school year, they had a 86% rate for kindergarten. I was so surprised. I never one time even considered not getting mine vaccinated!

When people were having crappy days and fevers the day after getting the Covid vaccine, I would frame it as a good thing. The vaccine almost certainly provoked that immune response, and feeling bad for a day is much better than feeling bad for a week
