@foreheadfoodies: I love the way Japanese people eat. There’s so much intention behind how a meal is arranged and enjoyed. These simple rules create variety and balance, and I’m really hoping to bring more into my own meals this year!! #ichijusansai #japanesemeals #japanesebreakfast

ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION FOR SOY SUBSTITUTE? I want to start eating a traditional Japanese diet bc it has the least amount of gluten in MOST dishes. Sadly soy can cause bloating but sometimes I wonder if its how we process soy Inn the US. I had a Japanese breakfast, miso, kimchi & pickled asparagus, some strawberries with Greek yogurt (i know its not traditional Japanese but my strawberries were going bad). I will definitely be following you.

Interesting that I had recently noticed that I myself enjoyed eating in a similar style. Meaning - having many little separate bowls, often with colourful food and rotating between them to create variety. It's more appealing to me than having all on 1 big plate.
